VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Preserve Historic Forsyth has partnered with the Circles Initiative of the Shalom Project to paint the exterior of a post-WWII home for a family in need.
Enjoy painting? Interested in learning a new skill? Want to help? Volunteers are needed for both Saturday October 18 and Sunday October 19 - rain dates October 25 & October 26. Call 773-1213 or email webmaster@preservehistoricforsyth.org to sign up for a shift on either day.
First shift volunteers on Saturday have an opportunity to learn techniques for safely removing lead paint. Everyone will be given instruction and disposable protective gear. Come out to scrape & learn!
Homes of the postwar building boom deserve recognition as a collective milestone in the history of our community. This historic mid-twentieth century cottage retains it's original wood siding and is in the Konnoak Hills neighborhood.
