Preservation Easements: Saving Your History will be presented by David Bergstone and George Edwards, professional preservationists and PF Board members, who have been involved with preservation easements for many decades. They will explain the purpose and use of preservation easements to protect your property for the future. The program will focus on how Preservation Forsyth receives preservation easements on historic properties. This is a basic form of protection that is entirely voluntary for a historic property's owner but will continue with future owners. There are implications on current property taxes and potential charitable donation of the portion of the property.  If you or someone you know has an interest, please come and get answers to your questions. We have a video on our YouTube channel that briefly touches on this, and the preservation tax credits, if you want to view that but this will allow specific questions and issues to be raised. Program is free for PF members and $10.00 for non-members.
