Historic Nissen House Tour

Join us at the Historic Nissen House on Thursday, April 11, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., where we will take a tour of the home and learn about its history, occupants, and restoration. Constructed c. 1876, the house belonged to George Elias Nissen (the eldest son of John Phillip Nissen - founder of Nissen Wagon Works). In 2023, Preservation Forsyth recognized the Lewisville Historical Society/Nissen House Steering Committee with a Nonprofit Restoration Award. Do not miss your opportunity to see their accomplishments. 

The tour is limited to 45 people and the cost is $20.00 for members and $30.00 for non-members. Refreshments will be provided. Spaces will not last long, so be sure to reserve your spot today.
