Mid-Century Modernist Tour

Preservation Forsyth is excited to offer a Mid-Century Modernist Architecture Tour this March 22. There will be five homes, from Konnoak to Pfafftown, and two churches that will be open as part of the tour. This will be a self-guided tour to the seven locations with docents at each location to provide background information and answer questions.

We are also excited to have local architect, Ed Bouldin, participating to talk about his award-winning design from 40 years ago.

Members will have a reduced price as usual. Non-members will have an early bird ticket price and increased price the week before.  Tickets will be picked up the day of the tour from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Salem College Eberson Fine Arts Center with final details, map and brief descriptions of the buildings. The other tour locations will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The SIDE Chair Library at Salem College will also be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the morning of the tour where tickets will be picked up. Tickets will allow entry to the tour locations, provide a map, and brief background on each location.

Tickets are limited so get your ticket in advance. Non-member tickets will go up the last week before the tour, and they may not available the day of the tour.
