Sign up now for the A. E. Conrad House Tour on Tuesday, June 30 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.  A "historic gem," the house "almost faced demolition to make way for a large, multifamily development." Purchased by "old house enthusiasts," the house, and its history, have been preserved. This is a tour you don’t want to miss!

The A. E. Conrad House was constructed in Lewisville during 1856, by Augustus Eugene Conrad on land that he inherited from his grandfather “River John” Conrad. Originally a plantation that encompassed over 1000 acres, the land has been home to a fruit tree nursery, sawmill, river ferry, boxwood nursery, and community fishing pond.

The cost of the tour is $25.00 for members and $35.00 for non-members. Refreshments will be served. Space is limited so be sure to reserve your spot today!
